To switch on incognito mode, just select the three dots at the top right of the screen and click on new incognito window.

There are plenty to choose from, but two of our favorites are Mozilla Firefox and Vivaldi. The first step is to take a look at your antivirus software. Antivirus programs sometimes will become a little overzealous and block downloads that are otherwise just fine, but are tripping some advanced protocols.

To get around this issue, you can either temporarily disable the antivirus suite altogether — usually through an icon in the system tray — or simply switch off these advanced functions. The second approach is probably the safest, so best to try that first. And it shows network error. So, solve the problem right now. This is happening to me as well. Tried downloading Ubuntu ISO and it failed. The Windows Attachment Manager helps protect your computer from unsafe files that you download or receive via email.

If it considers a file unsafe, it blocks you from downloading it. So, this Windows tool might be the reason you're encountering the "failed download error" on Chrome. In this case, you'll need to configure the Windows Attachment Manager settings to resolve the issue.
